How does the compression work?
It's a second zip that runs around the side of each cube. Once the lid is shut, pulling it draws the cube in, so the same clothes take up less depth. T-shirts, leggings and underwear squeeze down the most. Jeans and jumpers squeeze less.
We don't quote a percentage, because it depends on what you pack.
Will it fit Ryanair's or easyJet's free under seat bag?
Not every cube fits every bag, so here are the numbers. At the time of writing, Ryanair lists its free small bag as 40 x 30 x 20 cm and easyJet lists its free under seat bag as 45 x 36 x 20 cm. The XS, S, M and L cubes measure up to 40 x 30 cm, so they are within those sizes. The XL cube (40 x 40 cm) is for a cabin trolley or a hold bag.
Airlines change their rules, so check your booking before you fly, and measure the inside of your own bag.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery to the UK is free and tracked. Most orders arrive within 4 to 7 working days of ordering. A small number can take longer, up to 14 working days.

What if they don't work for me?
Every order comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy for any reason, email us at packelevatecontact@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund what you paid for the product. The set just needs to be clean and undamaged, with every cube and the laundry bag included. Using the cubes on a trip is fine.
Please email us before sending anything back, and we'll tell you whether we need it returned. If we do, return postage for a change of mind is paid by you. If something arrives faulty or damaged, tell us and we'll put it right at no cost to you.

Are they vacuum bags?
No. There's no valve, pump or hoover. A second zip around each cube pulls the sides in and squeezes it flatter, and you can do it again anywhere, including when you repack for the trip home.
Why Duo or Family?
So each person can have their own set, in their own colour, and nobody's things get mixed up. Duo is two full sets and Family is three, and you choose the colour of each set from Black, Grey and Lake blue.
Even if the cubes get mixed up in one case, the colour shows whose is whose and the icon shows what's inside.
Can I overfill them?
Fill them firmly, but the main zip should close without a fight. If a cube is bulging before you use the second zip, take something out. Forcing an overfull cube strains the zips and stops the compression from working.
Will my clothes come out creased?
Fold or roll your clothes flat and the cube holds them in place, so they move around far less than loose clothes in a case. Squeezing a cube right down can add folds to some fabrics, so for shirts and linen, close the main zip and leave the compression zip open.
Are they waterproof?
No. The cubes are polyester with a breathable mesh lid, so they keep your things together but won't keep water out. For toiletries or a wet swimsuit, use a sealed wash bag.
Will they make my luggage lighter?
No. Compression makes your clothes take up less space, not weigh less, and the cubes themselves add a little weight. If your airline weighs cabin bags, pack to the weight limit as well as the size.
